The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (AJTMH) – published by the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene – have clarified their author-pays option.

For authors who select the OA option (at a cost of $2500) the journal office will deposit the final version directly in PubMed Central and it will be made freely available at the time of publication.

These articles will be licensed using the Creative Commons, Attribution, Non-commercial license, which permits others to use, reproduce, disseminate, or display the open access version of this article for non-commercial purposes provided that the original authorship is properly and fully attributed.

This policy is fully compliant with the requirements of all the UKPMC funders.
